UPDATE FROM THE OFFICE OF CHORAL ACTIVITIES
IN REGARD TO COVID-19

Greetings from the Office of Choral Activities at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). I write today (July 12) to provide an update as to the coming fall semester in regard to singing and COVID-19. The University of Mississippi has announced their intent to operate under normal conditions this fall. With that, our intent is to also return to normal operations. With all students having the opportunity to be vaccinated, we deem is safe to return to singing without masks and without social distancing. We will continue to monitor all CDC, Mississippi Health Department, University of Mississippi, as well as professional singing organizations recommendations and update our procedures as necessary.
